Visionary executives from McKesson, SGS, PwC, Greenleaf Health and Salesforce discuss transformational impact of advancing digital quality management initiatives

HAMILTON, NJ – June 18, 2020 – Today, Sparta Systems concluded its first-ever virtual customer conference, Sparta Connection, an annual event reimagined for thoughtfulness during this global crisis. The online event brought together expert voices on quality during Covid-19, creating a culture of quality from a regulatory point of view, and how companies like McKesson and SGS are transforming quality management within their organizations.

Speakers at the event included Kareem Elwakil and Jan Paul Zonnenberg of PwC’s Pharmaceutical and Life Sciences division; Cynthia Schnedar of Greenleaf Health and former US regulator; Barry Cook, VP of Quality Operations at McKesson; Gary Chambers, Global Director – Compliance and Operational Excellence, Life Sciences, of SGS Group Management Ltd.; and Badri Devuni, Director of Life Sciences Solutions at Salesforce.

Participants also heard from Sparta Systems leaders: CEO Dana Jones, Vice President of Product Management Hari Subramanian, and Vice President of Digital Innovation Stephen McCarthy.

Subramanian led a session with the latest announcements about TrackWise Digital® and TrackWise® quality management solutions. Enhancements to come include expanded AI capabilities within TrackWise Digital, new AI insights from on-premise solutions, and strong message that innovations within are being shared across all quality solutions.

Jones opened the event with thanks to customers in the life sciences – especially pharmaceutical and medical device spaces – for their contributions to the fight for global health. She offered that it is “a time where we are proud to serve with you and to provide and facilitate what you need, given the hard work, given what you’re going to move our lives forward, to save lives, and to give us hope for a brighter future.”

Hosted by virtual emcee Stephen McCarthy, Sparta Connection spanned six sessions over two weeks, attracting roughly 500 or over 450 attendees/registrants from 200+ companies/industries.
