Bene Selects TrackWise Digital to Enable Digital Quality Management
Leading German pharmaceutical company implements digital QMS to optimize processes, data integrity and quality management oversight across multi-site operations
HAMILTON, NJ – NOVEMBER 23, 2020 – Today, Sparta Systems announced that Bene Arzneimittel GmbH, a Munich-based pioneer of medical products in the field of fever and pain therapy, has selected TrackWise Digital® as its end-to-end, next-generation quality management platform.
Bene will implement the TrackWise Digital suite for core Quality processes (Quality Events, CAPA, Change Control and Out of Specification), Complaints Handling, Document Management and Training Management to automate and integrate processes previously managed manually. TrackWise Digital’s cloud-based deployment will enable a swift implementation across multiple sites, minimizing the burden on IT, while ensuring all workflows are GMP compliant and fully validated.
“Our goal was to eliminate the administrative burden and data integrity challenges characteristic of manual quality processes. By connecting all quality processes in a single system, we have far greater transparency and visibility into quality events and information across the enterprise. TrackWise Digital will significantly streamline the day-to-day operations of quality management, allowing the quality team to focus on higher-value problem-solving and analytics.” said Jasmin Jivraj, Bene Head of Quality Assurance. “TrackWise Digital was the only QMS solution that met our selection criteria. Sparta Systems’ unrivaled reputation for expertise in GMP compliance and validation instilled us with confidence that we would enjoy a successful implementation and long-lasting partnership.”
Bene will also use TrackWise Digital’s Supplier Quality Management and collaboration tools to improve visibility and traceability across its supply chain. The system’s ability to easily integrate to Bene’s ERP system will also streamline operations. These advanced TrackWise Digital capabilities will drive greater levels of operational efficiency in the future, allowing for remote collaboration across teams, sites and suppliers and providing data-driven insights for continuous improvement.
Sparta Vice President of Digital Innovation, Stephen McCarthy said, “Advances in cloud technology have allowed life sciences companies to take advantage of shorter implementation schedules and easier upgrade protocols. But as a result, it’s even more important to have a robust yet flexible cloud-based QMS that can support the traditionally conflicting requirements of agile deployment and strict compliance. With TrackWise Digital, Bene has the best of both worlds - efficient compliance and faster time-to-value, yet still safe in the knowledge that their products meet the highest quality standards.”
