Are you an experienced copywriter with knowledge of the pharmaceutical and medical device industries? Are you a storyteller who finds it easy to evoke emotions in readers as well as make technical information simple to digest? This could be the job for you! We’re looking for a creative thinker with excellent writing, research and editing skills, as well as the ability to manage our marketing and sales enablement content to work as our full-time, in-house Marketing Copywriter & Content Manager! The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Product Marketing. This position requires an individual with at least 5-10 years of professional writing experience, ideally supporting SaaS software sales into the life sciences, manufacturing and supply chain industries. The ideal candidate demonstrates competence with technical subject matter and experience supporting the content development needs of technology product managers and marketing.

and Responsibilities:
  • Research and write original content such as white papers, data sheets, website content, blogs, thought leadership articles, case studies, press releases, etc., in conjunction with subject matter experts.
  • Create, own, and drive processes for proofreading, reviewing and editing copy.  Work with product management, marketing staff and others as required in support of sales enablement and marketing content strategy.
  • Manage marketing content for sales and buyer enablement
  • Manage and own all content assets and inventory
  • Produce copy for the website in support of the company’s marketing messaging and solution descriptions using SEO practices in conjunction website and social media marketing manager.
  • Write economical, effective headlines and copy for marketing campaign ads and customer communications.
  • Interpret creative direction and adapt points from creative briefs into persuasive copy concepts. Create concepts that help develop compelling, on-strategy content ideas that support B2B sales and marketing campaigns.
  • Other content creation / management duties as assigned.
Preferred Skills:
and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Communication or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 4-7 years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work supporting technology products and services, preferably in the life sciences or manufacturing and supply chain industries
  • Ability to distill complex technical information into effective, value-driven messaging
  • Strong ability to write compelling copy and tell brand stories across multiple media, especially integrating storytelling across multiple digital media outlets
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with a team to meet deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skill and multitasking ability
  • Understanding of marketing best practices
  • Proficient in AP Style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat. Adobe InDesign experience preferred
  • Experience with Pragmatic Marketing and Challenger Sales methodology is a plus
