Meet the Sparta Leadership Team
Oxana K. Pickeral is an accomplished technology executive with over 25 years of experience in healthcare and the life sciences, spanning from her work on the Human Genome Project to bioinformatics R&D and clinical trials innovation, to advanced analytics and patient engagement technologies. Prior to becoming the President of Sparta Systems, Dr. Pickeral was the Global Segment Leader for Healthcare and Life Sciences at AWS where she oversaw the AWS portfolio of technology and consulting partners with specialized offerings and innovative technology tools relevant to BioPharma, Genomics, Medical Device, Payers, Providers, and Agriculture, world-wide. She previously held C-level roles in a telehealth start-up, a health education & media nonprofit, was a Life Sciences practice lead at Booz Allen Hamilton, and served on various Boards of Directors and advisory industry boards. Dr. Pickeral holds a Ph.D. in Human Genetics and an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University.
Jeffrey Longoria brings over 25 years of executive leadership experience and is known for achieving aggressive growth targets, building scalable business processes and delivering excellent customer satisfaction. Prior to joining Sparta, Longoria served as SVP of Sales at SecureWorks. There he negotiated an alliance agreement with Dell that ultimately led to the acquisition of SecureWorks by Dell in 2011. In addition, Longoria served as the General Manager of the Dell SecureWorks EMEA business in London.
As CFO for Sparta, Kevin Cunnigham is responsible for all financial aspects of Sparta Systems overseeing financial planning, strategic analysis, banking, reporting, tax, and compliance. Prior to Sparta Kevin was CFO of the Honeywell Connected Aircraft business. Kevin has also held CFO and other leadership roles in Honeywell Aerospace. Before Honeywell he was a CFO of two privately held solar energy companies. Prior to that Kevin spent 17 years in global General Electric Healthcare finance roles. Kevin is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a Finance degree.
Prior to Sparta, Lesley Harris held delivery and services leadership roles at Sabre in both the Hospitality and Airline Services business units. During her tenure she accomplished multiple large-scale, complex software implementations capitalizing on best-in-class service and delivery capabilities while continuing to drive operating model process improvements. Harris is an energetic leader who motivates teams to drive operational efficiencies, grow service-generated revenue and improve customer satisfaction in order to deliver incremental value to the business.
Hari Subramanian is an experienced enterprise software leader with a strong track record of innovation, building effective teams and executing strategies to achieve profitable growth. Before joining Sparta, Subramanian grew a career at Sabre Corporation, starting there in 2006. He became VP Product Management at Sabre, driving vision and product strategy for reservations and airport solutions in SabreSonic suite of solutions.
Judy Fainor is a high-energy professional with over 25 years of software engineering experience including hands-on development, technical leadership and people management. She has a proven ability to be a thought leader, driving innovation, architecture, design and implementation. Judy’s experience working with and managing highly-skilled, over-achieving team members led to being recognized for leadership skills, work ethic and ability to drive change across an organization.
Sharon Marnien is an accomplished HR executive with a broad-based background in a variety of human resources roles, primarily with organizations undergoing significant growth and change. Before Sparta, Marnien was Director of Human Resources for Hartford Life Distributors, the sales and marketing division of The Hartford Financial Services Group. Prior to The Hartford, she spent over eight years at Lincoln Financial Group, where she was Head of Human Resources for Lincoln Financial Distributors.
Bob Robinson was previously SVP, General Counsel & Secretary at RMG Networks Holding Corporation, a multinational visual display software, SaaS and hardware company. Robinson has held leadership positions in the legal teams of other technology companies, including Hyla, Inc., BancTec, Inc., and Affiliated Computer Services. Robinson is also a retired Navy reserve officer who served as a surface warfare and Civil Engineer Corps officer in the U.S. Navy.
David Medina is experienced in global marketing strategy development and implementation, sales management for information technology and services in regulated industries, cloud computing, SaaS software and analytics. Prior to Sparta, Medina was VP Solutions and Vertical Marketing at QAD, a cloud ERP software built for manufacturing. Medina has also held roles at Hewlett Packard, where he led HP’s global life sciences industry vertical segment, developing software and IT solutions for the life sciences market, and at Quintiles Consulting (now IQVIA), where he led the business development and marketing team providing quality management system consulting services to the life sciences industry.
Raj Janwadkar is a seasoned software product leader spanning across banking and financial domains. Before joining Sparta, Janwadkar served as Senior Director, Global Product Development and Cloud Platform Engineering at Diebold Nixdorf, responsible for end-to-end product development of enterprise scale banking applications. Janwadkar is a results driven and motivated leader, who has worked across all phases of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) following metrics driven rigor and engineering best practices.
