Software Industry Veterans to Head Worldwide Quality Management and Compliance Expansion Efforts

Holmdel, NJ - December 1, 2008 - Sparta Systems, Inc., a leading provider of enterprise quality and compliance management software, today announced that it has added two software industry veterans to drive global expansion efforts and address customer demand. With combined experience of more than 40 years, Tom Dalle-Molle, vice president of North American sales, and Nathan Birtle, vice president of EMEA and APAC sales, will leverage their enterprise solutions expertise to lead worldwide sales and support for the company’s industry standard TrackWise enterprise quality management software solution.

Companies in the life sciences, medical devices and other globally extended manufacturing markets which constantly seek to drive efficiencies across the organization require enterprise-class software solutions enabling them to stay competitive in today’s strained market. Sparta Systems provides its TrackWise quality management software to organizations headquartered in multiple worldwide markets, strategically enlisting seasoned software industry leaders that understand the unique challenges facing these industries.

Prior to joining Sparta Systems, Tom Dalle-Molle was vice president of sales for SAP’s Consumer Products Group. Before SAP, Dalle-Molle was instrumental in building PeopleSoft from a $500 million to a $6 billion company, working in roles such as a managing director for the Northeast and general manager for their global accounts business. Over his 30 years in the software industry, he has also held key positions in sales and marketing at privately held software companies, including Primavera and Control Point Solutions, providing executive leadership to drive these companies’ substantial growth.

Nathan Birtle joins Sparta Systems as an experienced senior executive with a track record of launching and building pan-European operations and sales. He previously worked at enterprise master data management provider, Zoomix, where he served as the European sales director. Prior to Zoomix, Birtle held various executive, sales and marketing positions at Arbortext, IBM UK, and Tivoli Systems.

“As the market leader in enterprise-class quality management, the industry looks to Sparta to produce innovative solutions that drive efficiency and compliance efforts across the global supply chain,” said James E. McGowan, president and CEO, Sparta Systems. “With this in mind, we’ve strategically appointed Tom and Nathan, two stellar software executives, to lead our worldwide sales efforts.
