Holmdel, NJ - March 12, 2007 – Sparta Systems, Inc., (Sparta) the maker of TrackWise® and the market leader in enterprise Quality and Compliance Management (QMS) software for the life sciences industries, today announced that the Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, a private, not-for-profit blood center, has selected TrackWise as its enterprise tool for managing quality requirements.

Blood centers are regulated by strict quality requirements to ensure the safety of our blood supply. Donor centers must follow quality regulations as required by American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

"Sparta Systems' TrackWise software enables blood centers and manufacturers to attain compliance, improve quality and reduce costs by centralizing and integrating all quality processes, including management and reporting of biological product deviations (BPDs), customer complaints, internal and external audits, change control, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), training and employee qualifications, and document management," stated Bryan Koslow, Vice President, Sales and Business Development of Sparta Systems, Inc.

The initial TrackWise system implementation will include training management and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) management. The systems' automated workflow management capabilities control the process and improve timeliness of all CAPA plan development, approval, implementation, verification and effectiveness. The system's training and employee management capabilities will also help to reduce risk and increase employee productivity by improving management of center-wide training policies and requirements.

"The Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties evaluated TrackWise and walked away with an understanding that Sparta Systems will provide the tools for all areas of regulatory compliance without the need for separate modules." stated Bruce Edgar, Account Executive, for Sparta Systems.
