The purpose of this role is to effectively staff projects in a timely manner. This role is key to the success of the Professional Services department as proper staffing is vital to ensuring quality project completion as we strive to deliver our product value to our customers as quickly as possible. The Resource Manager must take a proactive approach to manage the overall skill set and schedule of internal and partner resources. They possess good business judgment and consistently staff projects within agreed upon time frames with the most qualified resources. The resource manager also takes a lead role in partner communication and resource pool development.

Responsibilities
These are the key outcomes to achieve that goal:
  • Track skill set of all internal and partner resource
  • Manage project allocation of resources – schedule coordination
  • Identify best resources for each project based on availability, utilization and skillset
  • Track pipeline for resource forecasting and communicate with CEM’s and PM’s on resourcing needs
  • Identify resource gaps and develop a remediation plan with the Training Coordinator
  • Develop relationships with service partners and cultivate their resource pool to backfill staffing requests
  • Keep accurate and detailed tracking for all the above

  • Proven knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) as well as basic technical aptitude to learn and use scheduling tools, Salesforce navigation and reporting,  and similar.
