Responsible for providing the highest level of performance and satisfaction for Sparta’s customers and employees through development and delivery of effective and professional technical training and support.
Required Skills:
  • Acquire comprehensive technical knowledge for Sparta’s products to train the client and employee base.
  • 3-5 years experience as a trainer in a software product capacity
  • Assist with the development of new courses and update existing courses using instructional design methods to support new products and features. This includes development of virtual machines, course agendas, training environments and exercises.
  • Assist with the development and delivery of custom workflow based training for Sparta Systems customers.
  • Demonstrate skilled level of understanding of technical aspects of training department, including virtual machine creation, training environment hosting options, and all other IT aspects related with the business as needed.
  • Deliver application training to clients or employees in either a classroom, online (in a virtual classroom environment), via telephone, or at client’s site.
  • Present seminars or workshops for Sparta products.
  • Present at user group meetings or conventions.
  • Deliver all core and advanced application training sessions, as specified in the training session curriculum, to clients and/or employees independently.
  • Manage expectations, provide escalation pathways, and document resolution of any issues that may arise during a class session.
  • Work with product management, implementation team members, other training specialists, and other departments to identify training needs, participate in course development, and present topics as needed.
  • Identify opportunities to promote and sell additional training within customer base.
  • Travel to remote offices or client sites to deliver training (~25% - 50%). Possible global travel.
Preferred Skills:
  • Proven trainer experience
  • Salesforce admin certification or equivalent experience a plus
