The Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties Selects Sparta Systems, Inc.'s TrackWise Software as its Quality Management System

Holmdel, NJ - March 12, 2007 – Sparta Systems, Inc., (Sparta) the maker of TrackWise® and the market leader in enterprise Quality and Compliance Management (QMS) software for the life sciences industries, today announced that the Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties, a private, not-for-profit blood center, has selected TrackWise as its enterprise tool for managing quality requirements.

Blood centers are regulated by strict quality requirements to ensure the safety of our blood supply. Donor centers must follow quality regulations as required by American Association of Blood Banks (AABB) and the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The initial TrackWise system implementation will include training management and corrective and preventive action (CAPA) management. TrackWise will enable Blood Bank of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties to electronically log any errors, manage related investigation tasks, and improve root cause analysis. The systems' automated workflow management capabilities control the process and improve timeliness of all CAPA plan development, approval, implementation, verification and effectiveness. The system's training and employee management capabilities will also help to reduce risk and increase employee productivity by improving management of center-wide training policies and requirements.
