Ursapharm Launches a New Quality Assurance Process Based On Sparta Systems’
TrackWise Software to Improve Overall Product Development Performance

Holmdel, NJ - June 10, 2008 - Sparta Systems, Inc. (Sparta), the maker of TrackWise®, and the market
leader in enterprise quality and compliance management software, today announced that Ursapharm
Arzneimittel GmbH & Co. KG is about to go live with its new QA system, based on Sparta’s TrackWise
software. The company chose TrackWise to streamline its quality assurance processes to better comply
with government requirements and ensure the highest quality of product development.

Ursapharm is using TrackWise to replace a paper-based QA system that was neither optimum nor efficient.
With TrackWise, the company will track and monitor corrective and preventative actions (CAPAs), deviations,
investigations and complaints. Ursapharm wants faster approval times, cleaner audits and reduced
administration time with regard to its QA processes.
