As a Sales Operations Analyst, you will play an important role in optimizing the productivity of our sales leadership, enabling optimal results from our sales team and facilitating the internal transformation of our sales organization. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others succeed, an affinity for fast-paced work environments, a keen ability to multi-task and a desire to be part of the “glue” that facilitates success of the entire sales organization. In this role, you will ensure that Sparta Systems Sales leadership has the information required to make the right decision for the success of our sales efforts. You will also serve as a coordinator for strategic sales programs and other initiatives. And, you will facilitate Sales leadership communications that create clarity, keep everyone aligned & motivated and report the status of our sales efforts to our executive team and Board. This role requires a candidate who is self-motivated and detail-oriented, can work well both independently and cross-functionally and believes that we succeed or fail as one team.

Responsibilities:

  • Collect, consolidate and format information from sales colleagues for consumption by Sales Leadership and/or other Sparta Systems management.
  • Generate the consolidated sales forecast from data in our Salesforce system on a defined schedule.
  • Execute standard reports, perform basic analysis, and format and distribute the resulting insights for use by Sales Leadership and/or other Sparta Systems management.
  • Execute field surveys to measure the effectiveness of our internal sales transformation, collect feedback from sales colleagues, and to provide other input for decision-making by Sparta leadership.
  • Track and report on the status of Sales KPIs and key sales opportunities. 
  • Perform basic ad hoc analysis as directed to support the operations of the Sales organization.
  • Create charts/graphics and draft slides for presentations by Sales leadership.
  • Draft communications from Sales leadership to the sales team and other internal organizations.
  • Design standard templates (i.e. account briefs, etc.) for collecting information from Sales colleagues.
  • Coordinate and host Sales Business Reviews, War Rooms, Deal Reviews, and other activities geared at supporting optimal sales execution.
  • Coordinate and track the onboarding of new sales colleagues to minimize time to productivity.  Address any issues that arise 
  • Coordinate, track, and report on the progress of Sales training and other internal Sales initiatives.
  • Coordinate executive preparations for customer meetings.
  • Liason with Sales Teams, Legal, Marketing, Finance, and other internal departments to represent Sales’ needs and ensure coordinated execution of work.
  • Execute against plan and show progress towards individual goals, as well as communicate effectively to internal clients while maintaining a positive and productive attitude.
  • Execute special projects as assigned.

Preferred Skills:
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-4 years of experiences at a fast-paced B2B company.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in sales support, executive support, and/or project coordination. 
  • 1-3 years of experience in preparing information for executive consumption.  
  • Experience using Salesforce Sales cloud is preferred. 
  • Experience at a software vendor or high tech company is preferred.
  • Self-starter with proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Fast learner with a superior ability to adapt to change.
  • Superior ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities while delivering on time.
  • Superior attention to detail with proven ability to quickly, consistently, and accurately execute both standardized and ad hoc processes.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft PowerPoint, including the use of graphics, charts, animations, etc. to enable quick effective consumption of information by executives.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of formulas, vlookups, etc. 
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills, including the ability to format large executive documents. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to draft motivational communications and policy communications for consumption by sales colleagues.
  • Strong ability to coordinate projects involving multiple employees, track project progress, and provide concise updates on the project status. 
  • Proficiency in analyzing, consolidating, and/or summarizing information
